Metz 48 AF-1 Digital kompaktblitz
En ny og meget interessant blitz fra Metz er nå på markedet i Norge. Metz 48 AF-1 er lillebroren til Metz 58 AF-1 og byr på ledetall 48 (m, ISO 100). Den har oppvippbar og dreibar reflektor med zoom som dekker fra 24 mm vidvinkel til 105 mm tele, samt en diffuseringsskive som gir spredning tilsvarende 18 mm. Blitzen har en rekke finesser som bl.a trådløs blitzstyring. Finnes i utgaver tilpasset kameraer fra Canon, Nikon, Olympus/Panasonic, Pentax/Samsung og Sony. Veiledende pris er ca. 2.600 kroner.

Metz, verdens mest anerkjente blitzprodusent gjennom flere tiår har nå kommet med en ny modell, Metz 48 AF-1 Digital.
Blitzen er en billigere modell av suksessen Metz 58 AF-1 som EISA nylig utnevnte til årets tilbehørspris for 2007/2008. Den er meget kompakt og man kan oppgradere blitzens software via en integrert USB kontakt fra nettet. Dette medfører at hvis man bytter til en nyere modell av sitt kameramerke med ny elektronikk kan blitzen oppgraderes meget enkelt via USB kabel.
Den kompakte og kraftige blitzen er spekket med finesser som gjør den til en av markedets mest fleksible blitzer.
Ledetall på 48 (ISO 100), zoom reflektor som både er dreibar og tippbar og zoom-område fra 24-105mm., innebygget spredelinse med reflektor som gir spredning ned til 18mm. Av andre finesser kan nevnes multi-zone blitz målesystem, trådløst slavesystem hvor blitzen kan brukes både som masterblitz eller slave, 12 manuelle innstillinger, synkronisering andre lukkergardin, utfyllingsblitz dagslys, high-speed synkronisering samt blitz bracketing.

Stylishly designed, the new Metz mecablitz 48 AF-1 digital is manufactured to the latest technical standards. Equipped with a USB interface enabling firmware updating via Internet, it is just as innovative as its big brother, the 58 AF-1 digital. Perfectly matched to the digital cameras of leading manufacturers, it is available in four different versions – each of them a smart flash, thanks to their fully-automatic flash systems. These ensure the right amount of light output for every single motif. Various manually operated functions increase the scope of photographic creativity. The new version thus has the potential to follow in the footsteps of its big brother, which has already been honoured with the “Plus X Award – Innovation” and the EISA AWARD as the “best product 2007-2008 – in the category photographic equipment”.
Thanks to the USB interface incorporated in the Metz mecablitz 48 AF-1 digital, updates can be carried out easily via the internet. Due to its high GN of 48 at ISO 100/21° and 105 mm focal length, the 48 AF-1 digital is not only especially powerful, but also can be used for bounce flash to great effect. Its very special feature: a reflector card that can be flipped open, which has been integrated into its vertically-tilting and horizontally-swivelling reflector. With a similarly-integrated snap-out wide angle lens diffuser, the 48 AF-1 digital can even illuminate wide-angle lens focal lengths from 18 mm (35-mm format).
In addition, the “Bounce diffuser 54-23” is available as an optional accessory for bounce flash lighting.
Various versions are available, specially adapted for use with Canon, Nikon, Olympus/Panasonic, Pentax/Samsung or Sony Alpha
